Once a year, AREN (Association for the Revitalization of Livestock in Niger) organizes the annual festival of EGGO, from the name of this village located 800 km north-west of Niamey.
As is customary, nearly 312 tribal leaders gathered to choose this date of November 30, 2014 and the theme of the debate: "Frequency of bush fires and rise of the agricultural front in pastoral areas. What responsibilities?” Besides the debates, it is the occasion for most families to validate weddings and baptisms. Without disregarding the various contests, races and session establishment of birth certificates and other identity cards of these mobile participants.
